Cal/EPA Education and the Environment Initiative
California is currently poised to lead the nation in increasing environmental literacy through the Education and the Environment Initiative (EEI). EEI brings an environment-based, State Board of Education approved curriculum to potentially millions of students in California. Students will understand their relationship with the environment and how it influences them as a result of the EEI.
California Building Standards Commission
Governor Schwarzenegger made the greening of California a priority during his administration. Under his direction, the California Building Standards Commission acted with other state agencies and industry stakeholders to develop a code that would reduce the impact buildings have on the environment. CALGreen, the 2010 California Green Building Standards Code, is the first-in-the-nation mandatory green building policy and goes into effect January 1, 2011.
California Fuel Cell Partnership
The California Fuel Cell Partnership is a collaboration of 31 members, including auto manufacturers, energy providers, government agencies, fuel cell technology companies and transit agencies, that work together to promote the commercialization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

International Code Council
The International Codes, or I-Codes, published by ICC, provide minimum safeguards for people at home, at school and in the workplace. The I-Codes are a complete set of comprehensive, coordinated building safety and fire prevention codes. Fifty states and the District of Columbia have adopted the I-Codes at the state or jurisdictional level.
