Campus Unions Events Booking Policies

Booking a billable space requires a minimum of 14 business days prior to event

These rooms include:

  • Gunrock Pub (Silo)
  • King Lounge (MU)
  • Med Sci Café (Scrubs)
  • MUII (MU)
  • Putah Creek Lodge

Booking a non-billable space in the MU requires a minimum of 2 business days prior to event

These rooms include:

  • Art Lounge Conference Room
  • Fielder
  • Garrison
  • Lower 5

Campus Unions Free Meeting Space No Show Policy

This policy has been developed with the intent to reduce the amount of “no shows” at the Memorial Union and Lower Freeborn.  The fee will only be applied when meeting space has been reserved and not used on the date and time booked.  This fee applies to the rooms managed by Campus Recreation and Unions Event Services (CRUES), which include Fielder, Garrison, Art Lounge Conference Room,  Moss, Mee (free room after 5pm for student orgs, SPAC and ASUCD), and Lower Freeborn 5.

As of January 4, 2010, a $15.00 per hour no show fee will be applied to all free meeting space, if campus departments or student organizations do not cancel 48 hours prior to their meeting reservation.  Cancellations must be sent via e-mail to ues@ucdavis.edu and must reference the reservation number.

If there are unforeseen reasons for not using the room on the day of or throughout the hours reserved, please make an appeal by emailing cueventservices@ucdavis.edu or by contacting CUES staff onsite the day of the reservation.
